Melmore Stableshas been undergoing some modifications for the comfort and convenience of guests. Ten feet of the garden wall has been removed and from the grassy bank in the rear garden, 26 tonnes of soil have been removed.The bank is grassy again - it's wearing new turf.The ground has a new surface, of foot (and tyre)-friendly pea gravel
Guests can now enter and leave Melmore Stables using the back door that leads into the kitchen and  can park two cars behind the building, safely off the road. A glass-topped patio table and four comfortable swivel chairs are now present, complete with parasol
Guests can now enjoy breakfast, lunch and/or dinner and drinks al fresco on the sunny side of the house. There is also a PIR light to illuminate the key safe in which the door key is kept for guests to use.
Improvements have also been made inside the premises. The shower room downstairs has been fitted with a new, floating basin and new Vinyl floorcovering.
The living room will be treated to a new carpet soon. In addition to the exhibition 'no entry' rope at the foot of the stairs, the door at the head of the stairs can now be bolted both on the guests'  side and on the inside, so guests' privacy is assured.

Main bedroom

In here, there's a double bed with an orthopaedic mattress by Royal.The bed will be made up with freshly-laundered linen and it is flanked by bedside cabinets, each with a reading lamp. 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There is a chest of drawers to accept your clothing and a single wardrobe is provided for your hanging clothes and shoes.

This room has French doors that are served by a wheelchair ramp leading the the front of the property.

Shower Room

This en-suite room has an electric shower in a glass cubicle equipped with grab rails and a seat for the convenience of disabled quests.

The room has a wash hand basin and a WC. Washroom consumables including shower gel, shampoo and conditioner are provided, as are freshly laundered towels.

Kitchen

Fully equipped for self caterinng for up to four adults, the kitchen has quality granite worktops that carry a four-burner gas hob with extractor unit and an electric oven under. There's a 1.1/2 bowl sink with drainer, a dishwasher, and a microwave oven. There are full laundry facilities, including a washing machine, tumble dryer, ironing board and iron.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

There's plenty of cupboard space and pots, pans, cutlery and crockery are all provided. The large American-style fridge freezer gives plenty of space for your foodstuff and drinks and it can dispense ice and iced water at the touch of a button.

The kitchen has a table and chairs to accommodate four. A high chair is also available.

Living Room

The living room at Melmore Stables fulfils a dual purpose in that it features a full double sofa bed, which guests can open at night. All bedding for the sofa bed is provided when four adults are staying. In addition to the sofa bed, there is a sofa and a comfortable armchair. All this seating in in leather.

A folding travel cot and the necessary linen are available for the use of one infant. This is at a modest extra cost payable on booking. The cot can be set up in the main bedroom or the iving room as required.

For guests' comfort and conveneince, the living room has a 32-inch flatscreen TV/DVD player with a Sky Q system that receives Sky's Entertainment Package. Further comfort is offered by the three-seater sofa bed and luxurious leather seating.

The living room also features an extending dining table and four chairs. The WiFi router is nearby.

The spiral staircase to the first floor is marked 'private' and is closed off with an exhibition rope. guests can bolt the door at the head of the stairs. The owner inthe first floor flat above the lving room won't disturb you and should any difficulty arise, feel free to contact the owner by phone, text or e-mail.

Outside

The property's concreted frontage houses the owner's car. There is a bench that guests can use and the wheechair ramp to the master bedroom is accsssible from the frontage.

The property's wheelie waste bins , recycling boxes for glass and cardboard and a polythene sack for rcycling plastic are tucked discreetly round the corner .
